The property sits on 3.5 hectares of well-managed grounds. The front and side of the house is laid to lawn with sprinklers. There is a gentle slope down to the lake in front of the house where you'll find steps into the water. The lake is perfect for fishing, swimming or kayaking. Although we have several types of fish, the majority are tilapia.

We have planted 400+ dwarf coconut trees complete with micro irrigation system fed to each individual tree. Expected monthly income circa US$3000.00 plus. The trees have started to produce, however, the main production will start by mid-2018.

The options for selling the coconuts are as follows:

Coconuts for drinking are harvested every 4/6 weeks by a local company for juicing, and payment is received in cash once the nuts are counted.

Selling to restaurants, hotels and beach bars is also an option. There is also a larger demand for the for the nuts during the Brazilian carnival week when the price doubles. We are currently harvesting and selling all the nuts from our older trees and planting some to sell as saplings. These are dwarf coconut trees called Anão.

The running of the coconut business can be managed either part-time by a couple, as we have done, or with a caretaker/gardener.

There is a mini-tractor and trailer which also cuts all the grass and keeps the grounds clear. A brushcutter, a hand push gasoline mower and a large variety of gardening tools. All is included in the price.

There are many fruit trees including the coconuts (450+), papayas, mangoes, cashews, bananas, and cherries.

The year-round warm climate is perfect for gardening! We grow many different crops for our own consumption including tomatoes, eggplant, chilies, green beans, peppers and a variety of herbs. We have also had success with melons and pumpkins.

Covered carport for two cars and three more useful outbuildings, suitable for workshops or as hobby rooms with electricity. Parking for multiple vehicles.

This is a perfect place for nature lovers and bird watchers in particular as we have recorded well over 120 species visiting and no less than 20 species nesting here in the garden.
